I'm currently uploading some videos of modizer running (version is 1.2beta, but it's almost the same as current v1.1), so check them if you want to know more about it!
BTW, sorry for the bad image quality, at least the sound is good.

There's always room for a beta on my iPhone :)
ReplyDeleteI know this is a bit far-fetched, but what are chances of a Modizer stand-alone app for OSX? CocomodX has long been abandoned, and there are currently no other mod players around that support such a vast array of formats.
There is one option for a player on OS X that does support these formats. For the past few years I've been using Audacious, an open source Linux player. You can find instructions I posted on their forums for building it on OS X here:

Of course, since there are no binaries you still need some knowledge to build the code and get it working.
I answer a bit late, but there is no chance of having an OSX version soon, at least by me. If someone wants to take the code & do an OSX version, why not ;-)
ReplyDeleteNow that would be a good reason to fire up XCode again... :D Is that a serious offer?
ReplyDeleteIf you want to start a OSX version, I see no objection! I don't have so much free time and a baby is coming ... I probably could provide some help & work a bit on it, but I don't think I'll have enough time to work on both iOS & OSX versions.
ReplyDeleteI just downloaded Modizer. I am really impressed - thanks a lot for making this program.
ReplyDeleteI came here to look for an OSX version. If an OSX version ever sees the light of day, I would be more than willing to pay the 2$ which is the price of the program for the iPhone.
Thankks for this blog post
